In the rolling hills to our north, there is Utica and Saint Louisville. Unique in their personalities and history, these two villages blend well with the towns to their west. Granville, Johnstown, and Alexandria stand proudly on their heritage and character as well. All five are different but surprisingly the same when it comes to their love and care of our beloved Christmas trees.

Stout’s Tree farm is a family owned business that was started in 1961 by William Stout in Hocking Hills on 64 acres. In 1978 it was moved to Utica, OH and has been expanding ever since. We currently have approximately 150 acres planted in a variety of trees mainly evergreens. Custom planting and digging are also services that we offer. During the Christmas season we have the “cut-your-own” trees as well as live trees along with a variety of wreaths and greenery items.
Messerall Family Tree Farm features cut-your-own trees, pre-cut trees and fir trees up to 16 feet. The warmth of the gift shop in the red barn offers handmade, fresh evergreen wreaths and delicious hot chocolate.

Heartland Orchard is located in Thornville. They are open from late July through mid-December. They grow, pick and sell peaches, apples, and pears. They do not offer you-pick. They do allow Christmas tree cutting only.

The Woodridge Tree Farm has been family owned and operated for over 20 years by the Oberhausers in the rolling hills of Licking and Knox county.
Marlin Walsh began planting trees on 104 acres of land north of Newark in 1958. Little did he know how many memories and fun times it would bring for generations to come. The farm has been family owned and growing trees since it's beginning. His wife Carolyn, their four children, spouses, 15 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren have kept the farm going, along with the memories he left behind. They harvest anywhere from 900 to 3000 Christmas trees per year, selling to both wholesale and retail markets.
Legend Hill Orchard and Family Farm Market is located one mile south of Utica on Reynolds Road in Licking County, Ohio. Legend Hills Orchard offers apples, peaches, plums, strawberries, asparagus, and also pine trees (dug or cut) for Christmas or landscaping are grown and harvested by hand.
