May 31 - June 2
The show returns this year with a new name, Camp Anarchy. Last year 20,000 fans gathered at Legend Valley to see an all-star punk legend line-up of bands like Joe Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, Rancid, Goldfinger, the Decendents, the Vandals, Mighty Mighty Boss Tones, and many others.
Campers stayed all weekend not only for the bands, but for a great spread of Craft Beer tasting, dodgeball, and late night campfire stories with punk legends. This unique opportunity allowed fans to have a Q&A with Joe Biafra, Jack Grisham, and Joe Escalante. There was something happening all day, everyday!
While many were upset by the absence of NOFX, the punk community rallied and filled the void as “the show must go on.” Many chanted and anticipated perhaps a surprise appearance by NOFX – which unfortunately never happened – but were only given a taste when Goldfinger did a cover of “Linoleum” during their set. Mike Herrera also played bass behind front man John Feldmann in what became an undeniably amazing line-up.
This year, Camp Anarchy comes back to Legend Valley with an equally impressive line-up that you can find on the website listed below. You can also find any information about ticket purchases, camping, and anything else you may want to know.
