A collaboration between COTC and the Licking County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), will honor law enforcement personnel as they prepare for National Police Week, May 11-17. Proceeds from the Blue Line Twilight Run will benefit COTC’s Officer Thomas W. Cottrell, Jr. Award for Character and Dedication to Public Service and the LCSO’s Stuff the Backpack fund.

After-Run Fun Down/Concert Open to All
If you can’t participate in the Twilight Run/Walk, plan to come to campus for the free After-Run Fun Down, which will feature bounce houses for kids, food trucks, live music, first responder vehicles on display and a distracted driving simulator. All community members, families and race participants are invited to enjoy the free event. Local food trucks Poppy’s Roadside Diner, Lynette’s Country BBQ and Simply Fit will offer food for purchase. Local classic rock cover band Off the Grid will provide live music. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome. The After-Run Fun Down will be held at the COTC Newark campus’s Martha Grace Reese Amphitheater from 7:30-10 p.m.
