Visit the Wall of Honor at the American Legion Post 254 in Johnstown. The Wall of Honor stands 44′ wide and 9.5′ in height with 2 American bald Eagle on the end columns over watching. In the background stands a 35′ flag pole with Old Glory flying 24/7 and on each end are 30′ flags representing the American Legion and our POW/MIA’S. What makes this memorial unlike any other is the fact it is made out of reclaimed stone which has been finely cut and makes up 90% of the structure. Also the entire project was built by local Johnstown area tradesmen which all took a personal interest in how beautiful she would be. When completely full of Veteran’s names it will represent 1196 of those who have and still are serving.
